Pleasing Words

Read: "May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14 NLT

Pray: On Friday pray about whatever is on your heart. Tell the Lord about your week and the times you felt happy or sad. Tell Him that you love Him and thank Him for His love. Just have an ordinary conversation with Jesus.

Write: During this week you have been praying about the words that people say to one another. Remember: those who speak harsh, mean, dishonest words are "sitting in the seat of scoffers." Those who speak the truth in love are sitting the presence of God.
Today write a letter to God. Thank Him for His words of life and peace. Tell Him that you want your words to be pleasing to Him. . Ask God to help you speak good words in your home, at your school, in your church and with all of your friends.
